. . . And Thursday

Good morning Utah!

Are we ready for this?!

WE ARE! Temple Quarry, here we come!

Dash poses with Pat

What goes down, must come up!
Oh, wait. . . nevermind

NIce and shady to start

The valley below

Starting around the backside

Civilization below

What lies ahead?

Stunning! (See Ivin's Toe in the middle?)

Climbing the path back up and out

A little breather on the lava boulder

Another of those cute bushes with fuzzy pearls!

The end is near

We did a little walking through the nearby neighborhood,
but here was the view at the end of our hike

Another lovely menu!

Yes, that is a lot of food!

Chunky vegetables. Mmmmm

Loved the salad. The turkey in the pita had a nice texture.
I couldn't eat it all, though.

Chef Cameron does two cooking demos every week,
and shows us at least 4 different recipes

Dash is a big fan of Chef Cameron!

One of the recipes: Chocolate Pudding Cake (for Sunday)

Dash joined me for a few classes today.
Here he is before Ball Works

Tiffany is the Ball Works instructor
(Dash LOVES her, even though he can't move his
arms right now because of her!)

Larry wanted a picture with Dash, too!

Dash trying out the treadmill for Treading

Delicious! I couldn't eat the whole thing, though

Apple-Berry Cobbler. Mmmmm

Another favorite! Dash loves Sharon's kickboxing class

Catching up. . .

Here are Tuesday's pics. Enjoy!

Dash was up and ready to go!

Van 2 on our first hike together

The trail to "Ivin's Toe"

It was a little sandy in parts

And there were these cute little fuzzy "pearls" on the bushes

The trail went right behind this neighborhood

It's ME!

And then we left the neighborhood to head towards the red hills

Doesn't look real, does it?

Headed towards the toe

Going up a little bit

The group at the top

A mushroom rock on the way back down
(And our silly guide, Pat)

Our other guides Deb and Matt

I love these rocks!

So does Dash (lower right)

His close-up

A little adventure

On the way down

He loves the desert flowers!

Look! Here's one just his size

We eventually ended up back on the pavement,
and walked up to the end to see the entrance
to this local outdoor theatre

I don't know why I thought this was so interesting
This little guy was imbedded into the road

A little sand always ends up on my toes.
This makes Dash happy he doesn't have toes!

Meanwhile, back at the FRidge

Mmmmm. Fresh fruit

Deeeelicious!

It's important to drink lots of water in the desert

Dash joined in on the Stretch class today. Aaaaaah

Yummy!

Very filling!

Tasty. . . is a one-way ticket!

I could eat just the cinnamon chip(s) Yummo!
